Gabriel Torrente Rodríguez has just been included in the list of consignees authorized to operate in the harbour of Ferrol, being now 13 ship agents included in such list. Officially, he is the only one who has joined as a natural person, not as a company, despite working under the trademark Meraki Disruption & Logistic.
Gabriel Torrente, born in Pontedeume and senior technician in international trade, has ten years of experience in the sector. Initially, he intends to focus their activity on the forestry and biomass sectors. “We will take a firm position in favour of the new technology, of the blockchain, in order to eliminate bureaucracy and paperwork and to be more efficient. […] We would like to collaborate with other local consignees’, he states.
The current list of authorized consignees in this naval city by the Port Authority of Ferrol-San Cibrao consists of Antón Martín Shipping, Bergé Marítima, Marítima Consiflet, Finisterre Agencia Marítima, Pérez Torres Marítima, Rubine e Hijos, Ceferino Nogueira, Kaleido Logística, A. Pérez y Cía, Greenalia Logistics, Macandrews and Incargo Galicia.
