Located in the North of the province of A Coruña, the Port of Ferrol is the port with the largest commercial activity of all those that are administrated by the Ferrol-San Cibrao Port Authority.

The Port of Ferrol dominates the estuary of Ferrol, which is accessible through the Point Coitelada and Cape Prioriño Chico, where the Outer Port is located. The estuary bathes the coast belonging to the municipalities of Ares, Mugardos, Fene, Neda, Narón and Ferrol. Due to its strategic situation, sheltered by the estuary, the port receives continuously merchant, fishery and military ships, as well as sailing boats.
